As a Liechtenstein asset manage\u00adment company, we are subject to the disclo\u00adsure requi\u00adre\u00adments of the <span class=\"caps\">EU<\/span> Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (Regulation (<span class=\"caps\">EU<\/span>) 2019\/2088, <span class=\"caps\">SFDR<\/span>), which has been appli\u00adca\u00adble in Liechtenstein since 1 May&nbsp;2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability Risks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sustainability risks are envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal, social or gover\u00adnance events or condi\u00adti\u00adons whose occur\u00adrence could have a mate\u00adrial adverse effect on the value of an invest\u00adment. They are ther\u00ade\u00adfore taken into account irre\u00adspec\u00adtive of any sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity prefe\u00adrence expres\u00adsed by the client:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For all manda\u00adtes, we exclude direct invest\u00adments in compa\u00adnies opera\u00adting in the gambling, weapons and porno\u00adgra\u00adphy sectors.<\/li>\n<li>The assess\u00adment is based on a sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity score deri\u00adved from <span class=\"caps\">MSCI<\/span>\u2019s <span class=\"caps\">ESG<\/span> rating and supple\u00admen\u00adted by <span class=\"caps\">ESG<\/span> momen\u00adtum, busi\u00adness prac\u00adti\u00adces, busi\u00adness acti\u00advi\u00adties and contri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adons to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no uniform defi\u00adni\u00adtion of sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity in asset manage\u00adment; assess\u00adments may ther\u00ade\u00adfore vary depen\u00adding on the data and rating source used.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability Preferences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We assess the sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity prefe\u00adren\u00adces of all clients as part of the inve\u00adstor profile. Clients may choose from four levels: sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity-neutral, respon\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adlity-orien\u00adted, sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity-conscious and sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity-orien\u00adted. The selec\u00adted level is docu\u00admen\u00adted in an adden\u00addum to the Asset Management Agreement and inclu\u00addes binding mini\u00admum requi\u00adre\u00adments for indi\u00advi\u00addual secu\u00adri\u00adties and the over\u00adall port\u00adfo\u00adlio.
